The Heartbeat Method is a shifting technique for shifting to the Desired Reality (DR). In this method, by focusing on the rhythm of your own heartbeat, you calm your mind and consciously try to shift to DR. Following the natural rhythm of your heart increases mental awareness and facilitates a conscious transition.
How to do the Reality Shifting Heartbeat Method?
1. Prepare a Comfortable and Quiet Environment
- Choose a quiet space where you can lie or sit comfortably.
- Reduce the room light or create a completely dark environment.
- Wear comfortable clothes for relaxation.
2. Relax with Deep Breathing
- Calm yourself by taking deep breaths:
- Take a deep breath in through your nose (for 4 seconds).
- Hold your breath for a short time (2-3 seconds).
- Slowly exhale through your mouth (6-8 seconds).
- Repeat this breathing cycle several times.
3. Focus on Your Heartbeat
- Place your hand over your heart or just try to feel your heartbeat.
- Focus on the rhythm of your heart and feel each beat carefully.
- Calm your thoughts by directing your mind only to your heartbeat.
4. Visualize DR
- Start visualizing where you want to be in the DR.
- Imagine yourself in the place or situation you would like to see in the DR.
- Try to imagine the sounds, smells and sensations as vividly as possible.
5. Harmonize with the Heartbeat
- Imagine that you are sliding towards DR with your heartbeat.
- Imagine that with each heartbeat you are getting a little closer to DR.
- Sincerely repeat affirmations such as “With each beat I am getting closer to DR.”
- Try to feel your body and surroundings in the DR.
6. Wait for the Moment of Transition
- Continue to stay relaxed in the moments when you feel you are shifting into DR.
- When you feel yourself shifting into DR, either unconsciously or sleepily, become aware of your new reality.
