The Rock Method is a visualization technique that aims to connect with gravity and the power of nature by calming the mind during the reality shifting process. In this method, one imagines oneself as a strong, stable rock and this sense of resilience facilitates the transition to the desired reality. The rock metaphor symbolizes inner balance and calm.
How to do the Reality Shifting Rock Method?
1. Choose a Comfortable Environment
- Find a place that is quiet and free from distractions.
- Choose a position where you can sit or lie down comfortably.
- You can support the environment with dim lighting or relaxing music.
2. Relax with breathing exercises
- Inhale deeply and exhale slowly:
- Inhale for 4 seconds.
- Hold for 4 seconds.
- Slowly exhale for 6 seconds.
- Repeat this breathing cycle several times and focus on relaxing more and more with each breath.
3. Imagine yourself as a rock
- Imagine in your mind’s eye that you are a big, solid rock.
- Feel yourself in the middle of nature, like a strong and unshakable rock.
- Imagine that you feel the wind blowing on you or the water flowing, but realize that these natural forces do not affect you. You are constant.
4. Feeling the Energy of the Earth
- Feel the energy of the earth flowing upwards from below you.
- Imagine this energy spreading through your whole body, starting from your feet.
- This energy empowers you to move to DR.
5. Visualize the Shift to DR
- Slowly imagine your rock moving towards the DR.
- Visualize your new reality. You are slowly sliding to where you want to be.
- Detail the sights, sounds and smells around you.
6. Stabilize Yourself in DR
- When you reach the DR, again feel stable like a strong rock.
- Make affirmations like “I am in the DR, this is my new reality.”
7. Explore the Experience
- Observe your surroundings in the DR and pay attention to details.
- Focus on feeling yourself as part of this reality.
8. Going Back (Optional)
- If you want to go back, imagine the rock sliding back into the old reality.
- Focus on your body and the environment you are in, slowly open your eyes.
